How long does the Document Supply process take?

Answer

On average, it takes around 10 days for items to arrive. It can take longer than this if we are not able to get your item from the British Library or your request is placed on a waiting list. We therefore ask that you allow a minimum of 10 working days between the date you place your request and the date by which you need your item.

We will email you to let you know when your request has been submitted and dispatched. We will also inform you if the request has been cancelled or delayed for any reason. Gateway staff at your campus will let you know either by phone or email when items are available for collection. All email updates will be sent to your UCA email account, so please remember to check this regularly.

Please see Requesting Resources, and use the Document Supply tab for further information.
