Paperpile has made a reference with s.d. in it, why is that?
Answer
Your reference might look something like this:
Bell, K. and Spencer, S. (s.d.) Stanley Spencer. London: Phaidon Press Limited.
s.d. mean no date, so Paperpile couldn't find a date for source you are referencing.
You can add this manually from within Paperpile:
- Click on the Arrow to the right of the source
- Select Edit
- Add the date to the Date Published field
- Select Save
Paperpile may find it harder to find a date on web sources, look for the date published which sometimes at the bottom of the page. If you can't find one leave the field blank, the s.d. is completely fine in these situations
